2009 7/8 T.O.C.
CONGRATULATIONS TO EASTLAKE'S 7/8 TOC TEAM FOR WINNING ... THEIR FIRST GAME AGAINST PARKVIEW (9-5) on Tuesday and their SECOND GAME AGAINST IMPERIAL BEACH (12-2) on Thursday!!!!
They advanced to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME on Sunday the 28th at Chula Vista American Little League. After battling back in the 5th inning to take a 5-4 lead, they ultimately fell short against Chula Vista American for a final score of 6-5. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LITTLEST HEROES AND TO ELL's TOP NOTCH 7/8 COACHES FOR A STRONG BATTLE AND A 2ND PLACE WIN IN THE DISTRICT 42 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME !!!! Manager Tim Johnson, his coaches Christian Slyke and Erwin Mora in addition to all of the ELL parents are proud of our 7/8 TOC team! Good job boys! |

CONGRATULATIONS TO EASTLAKE'S MAJORS TOC TEAM FOR WINNING ... THEIR FIRST GAME AGAINST CHULA VISTA NATIONAL (11-1) ON WEDNESDAYand their SECOND GAME on Saturday against SWEETWATER VALLEY (13-1)!!!
They advanced to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME on Sunday against Parkview where great pitching, hard hitting, and determination lead to a final score of 8-3 EASTLAKE!! Congratulations to our Majors TOC boys, to their Manager Victor Montoya, and to his coaches Mike Serrano and Mike Morales for bringing home the DISTRICT 42 CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER !!!! |

They advanced to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME on Sunday against Parkview where great pitching, a strong defense, and determination lead to a final score of 9-6 EASTLAKE!!
